The Fort Knox Defender Series is designed after the Protector Series and it offers the same security features without the cosmetic frills. The difference between the Protector Series versus the Defender is the durable granite finish which guards against nicks, dings and scratches. The Fort Knox Defender 7261 Model is the newest 2010 addition to series. It’s the model with the widest width of 61 inches, weight 1644 pounds and comes with thirteen 1 ½ inches diameter active door locking bolts. The Defender Safe is the best value for a conservative budget.
