The Fort Knox Vault Door In-swing 8240 model is unique with its inward swing door. With the inward swing, it enhances your vault room to have triple functionalities: secure storage, panic room and storm shelter. The door swings inward so you can still get out of the vault even if there are obstructions in-front of the doorway after a storm. Our In-swing 8240 is a heavy duty 1,308 lbs vault door with all the top-of-the-line features. We can install this steel door in a pre-formed concrete or cement block opening. All Fort Knox Vault Doors need an 82 inches X 40 inches rough opening in wall.
Rough Opening Tolerances:
